Renovation update, March 2, 2023
The Equine Hospital at the Charles and Julie Wharton Large Animal Hospital at the University of Tennessee is undergoing renovations and improvements to the general ward stalls over the next 8 weeks. The renovations include resurfacing and repainting the stalls and the installation of new stall gates.
The limited number of stalls available will impact our ability to house patients, and clients may experience longer wait times for appointments. Elective and nonemergency appointments at the equine hospital will continue to be scheduled, but urgent and emergency cases will receive priority. We will work with you and your client to schedule the horse as soon as possible depending on the availability of stalls and the nature of the appointment. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding during the much-needed improvements to the hospital.
