Alyssa Jenkins, DVM

Overview

Dr. Jenkins grew up in the lower peninsula of Michigan. She attended veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and then completed her small animal rotating internship at the University of Tennessee. Following completion of her internship, she stayed on as a Clinical Instructor of Emergency and Critical Care. Although she hopes to eventually attain board certification with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, Dr. Jenkins enjoys the variety and challenges of emergency medicine. She is also passionate about teaching and enjoys working with non-traditional pet species.
