Dr. Martin received his DVM in 1995 from The University of Tennessee. He spent the first 5 years of his career in mixed animal practice. Dr. Martin owned an equine ambulatory practice from 2001 until 2011. Dr. Martin accepted a position at UTCVM in 2011 as an equine ambulatory clinician where he continues to serve the equine community in the greater Knoxville area. In addition to field work Dr. Martin has a focus in the area of equine dentistry.
