Jamie Stuffle, LVMT

Overview

Ms. Stuffle is from White Pine, Tennessee, and grew up helping her parents on a small dairy farm, where she also rode and showed horses. After graduating with her degree in Veterinary Technology from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate TN in 1998, she joined the University of Tennessee as the ophthalmology technician. In her 14 years with our service, Jamie has come to exemplify the gold standard in veterinary nursing. She has won numerous Technician of the Year awards for her diligence, hard work, and patient instruction of veterinary students. In addition to her unparalleled expertise in the technical aspects of veterinary ophthalmology, Jamie also serves as an invaluable liaison between clinicians and clients. She routinely fields between 10 and 15 telephone consultations daily, and keeps owners closely informed of their pets’ progress, test results and diagnostic and therapeutic plans. Jamie lives in Mascot TN with her husband and their two children.
