Michele Wilson, BS, LVMT

Sr. Veterinary Technician I | Small Animal Clinical Sciences
Overview

Michele was born in Africa. At the age of nine, Michele’s family immigrated to the United States. She obtained a degree in applied science from Thomas Edison State College. She ended up working for a medical insurance company for a couple of years, before starting a position at a veterinary practice. There Michele fell in love with veterinary medicine and pursued a veterinary technician degree at Camden County College. Michele has been an oncology technician at UTCVM for 9 years now. She feels the best part of her job is the client contact and client communication. “I love the fact that I get to form a bond with the owners and their pets during the time that they are here receiving treatments,” Michele says when asked what is the best part of her job. In her free time, Michele volunteers with her church and local charities. Michele and her 9 year old shepherd, June, participate in H.A.B.I.T volunteering at Brakebill Nursing Home. She also enjoys gardening.
