(Updated July 1, 2020) A message from Dr. Dennis Geiser and Barbara Campbell
Dear Colleagues,
Greetings from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. The faculty and staff of the College hope that you are staying safe and well as we all continue to navigate the challenges presented to us by this viral pandemic. The College remains dedicated to our teaching mission including quality life-long education through continuing education and outreach.
As I am sure you are aware, many national, regional and local conferences have been cancelled or moved to a virtual format when possible. Our Henton Veterinary Conference held December 2-4, 2020 and the Annual Conference held February 5-7, 2021, will occur and provide the usual established continuing education units for attendance; the format will most likely be virtual. We wanted to share this information with you to help you plan your CE needs.
We know that the cancellation of national meetings greatly reduces the offerings for in person CE completion. We also know that many of you depend on our meetings for your annual required CE for licensure. We wanted to let you know of possible changes and thank you for understanding that we must continue to make decisions for the protection of everyone. Please stay connected as we continue to reevaluate the situation on a daily basis.
Thank you very much for your support of our College and our teaching mission.
Best regards,
Dennis R. Geiser & Barbara Campbell
