MS, PhD, PhD-DVM

Studies in Comparative & Experimental Medicine are

  • focused on the comparative approach to the study of biomedical and veterinary sciences
  • intended to prepare students for research and/or academic careers in the health sciences

Interdisciplinary environment

We pool diverse support in personnel and facilities at

  • College of Veterinary Medicine
  • Graduate School of Medicine
  • Department of Public Health
  • Center for Wildlife Health
For the student with an undergraduate biological science background, CEM provides a unique opportunity to study disease processes common in animals and humans from a multi-disciplinary perspective. The program is especially useful for individuals with professional degrees.

Director of Graduate Studies: Dr. Stephen Kania
