The John and Ann Tickle Small Animal Hospital at the University of Tennessee Veterinary Medical Center (UTVMC) is home to a comprehensive academic veterinary radiation oncology program.
Our new radiation oncology facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology that allows us to provide the most effective, advanced and safest radiation treatment available to our patients.
Radiation therapy may be the only treatment that your pet needs, or it may be part of a treatment plan that includes surgery and/or chemotherapy. We will work with you, your veterinarian and our specialists to create a treatment program that fits your pet’s needs.
Available treatment options include:
- Electron Therapy
- 2D and 3D Conformal Therapy
- Intensity-modulated Radiation Therapy
- Strontium-90 Therapy (Plesiotherapy)
- Stereotactic radiotherapy
