Deadline: September 15, 2025.
Application process: All applicants (resident and non-resident) must apply through the Veterinary Medical College Application Service (VMCAS). The VMCAS web-based application will be available online at: https://portal.vmcas.org/
UTCVM Supplemental Application Fee Deadline
- September 15, 2025
The Supplemental Application Fee must be remitted in order to be considered for admission to the University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine.Â
Notification of Interview
- Tennessee Residents – Typically in early to mid-October
- Nonresident – Typically in early to mid-January
Interviews (in-state students)
- In-state students – TBD
- Out-of-state students – TBD
Offers of Admission
- In state offers are typically extended in December
- Nonresident offers are typically extended in mid- to late February
Fall 2025 Classes Begin
- 1st Year Orientation – Required, typically one week before UTK Fall classes start
- 2nd Year Classes – August 18, 2025
- Official class start date – August 18, 2025
