The UTCVM Diagnostic Laboratory will be closed on Monday, September 2nd in observance of Independence Day and will reopen on Tuesday, September 3rd.
Due to the potential health risk to UTCVM personnel, primate samples are only accepted with prior approval and instruction. Without prior approval or proper packaging, samples will be destroyed. Call the specific lab prior to submitting.

Diagnostic Services Research and Development
UTCVM Diagnostic Laboratory Services support research activities. Availability of anatomic pathology (biopsy, necropsy) interpretation services depend on pathology faculty availability and interest. Histology processing of tissues (without pathologist’s interpretation) and other testing services are available on a fee-for-service basis; logistics and turn-around-time may vary depending on individual project needs and timelines and must be approved by the relevant Laboratory Director.
