Help us keep you informed. Please send your updated address and other contact information to us at We’d also love it if you would let us know about any “Class Notes” we can share. Also let us know ideas on how we can serve you better.

Welcome Madeline Shelly!

Madeline is UTCVM’s Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs and Annual Giving. She works with Laura Zimbrick, Director of Advancement.

“Warm greetings from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine’s new Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs and Annual Giving. I am looking forward to connecting with you to learn about your invaluable experiences at UTCVM. I recently joined UTCVM after working for the State of Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation for the last several years as a mediation specialist. I am thrilled to be working at UTCVM and to learn from the exceptional faculty, staff, students, and alumni!

I am originally from Germantown, Tennessee, and I am a proud alum of the University of Tennessee. I received my bachelor’s degree in political science and my master’s degree in public policy and administration from UT. I fell in love with Knoxville and decided to make it my home. Go Vols! I live in South Knoxville with my husband, Keith, and our 110-pound lap dog, Biggie. I am eager to connect with you to hear about your personal experiences at UTCVM and your journeys after graduation. I want to be your advocate to the school and make sure that you continue to be engaged with UTCVM and all the important work that is done here.

I will be reaching out to all alumni soon. I look forward to meeting you, and, in the meantime, please see my contact information below. Let me know if I can be of assistance to you in any way.”
