Parking Instructions
(click for pdf map) Turn from Neyland Drive onto Joe Johnson Drive.
Turn at the 1st LEFT onto River Rive by Smokey statue.
Take the 1st left and park in lot CC1.
A parking lot attendant will be in the lot in the morning to hand out parking passes. We will also have passes at check-in.
Be sure to place the parking pass on your dashboard.

Walk west along Joe Johnson Drive to the ANR building, which is located on the left at the corner of Joe Johnson Drive and EJ Chapman Drive at the red light.

Linden Craig, DVM, PhD, DACVP
Clinical Professor, UTCVM Biomedical and
Diagnostic Sciences Department
Dr. Linden Craig received her Animal Science degree from Cornell
University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from
Mississippi State University. She was in small animal practice for
3 years before doing her anatomic pathology training and PhD
at Johns Hopkins. She worked as a pathologist at University of
Pennsylvania, Massey University in New Zealand, and has been at
the University of Tennessee for 23 years. Her professional interests
include pathology of nondomestic species, comparative pathology,
cardiovascular pathology, and bone and joint pathology. - Guest Speaker
Jeff Biskup, DVM, DACVS

Dr. Jeff Biskup attended veterinary school at the
Ontario Veterinary College before completing a rotating internship
at the University of Illinois and a 3-year surgical residency at the
University of Minnesota. After completing his training, Jeff was a
professor in small animal surgery atUTCVM y for 3 years. Afterward, he worked at Animal Health Partners in Toronto for 2 years. Jeff enjoys all aspects of orthopedic and soft tissue surgery with a focus on different cranial cruciate ligament repair techniques, fracture repair, and total hip replacements. He also enjoys abdominal procedures and minimally invasive surgery. - Guest Speaker

Elise Littleton has been a credentialed
veterinary technician for over 16 years. She has extensive clinical
experience in Emergency and Critical Care in both private practice and academic settings. In 2013, she obtained her Veterinary Technician Specialty (VTS) in Emergency and Critical Care while working in the Small Animal Critical Care Department at UTCVM. Elise is a RECOVER CPR instructor and shares her passion with her team. Her professional interests include teaching critical nursing care, veterinary leadership, team development, sepsis management, and, of course, CPR!

Our Gratitude for the Coughlin Endowment
We want to take this opportunity to thank the late Dr. Dennis Coughlin, Jr., an orthopedic surgeon in Knoxville, Tennessee, and his family for their continued financial support, namely, “The Coughlin Endowment,” in memory of Dr. Dennis Coughlin, Sr. (1890-1954). The Coughlin Endowment provides funding for the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine Continuing Education Annual Conference for Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians. UTCVM is extremely grateful for the support Dr. Coughlin, Jr.’s family provides to honor his father, Dr. Dennis Coughlin, Sr. Dr. Coughlin, Sr.’s illustrious career included practicing as a veterinarian with the United States Department of Agriculture and serving as president of the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association from 1940-1940. A native of South Dakota, Dr. Coughlin, Sr. completed his veterinary degree in 1916 at Kansas City Veterinary College in Kansas City, MO. During his career in the Tennessee area, he met and married Esther Brackin, who was a member of the University of Tennessee faculty. UTCVM is grateful for the support of the Coughlin Endowment.
