By signing up for a VolVet Portal account, your clinic can request courier service’s (within 30 miles of UTCVM) and set up shipping labels for diagnostic sample submissions, and referral guidelines and estimates for referred patients.

The VOLVet Portal is designed for referring veterinarians and their clinical staff. It provides access to discounted transportation services for your diagnostic lab samples and includes the Referral Guide with detailed pre-referral recommendations, estimates, and client resources.
No. You are not required to use the VOLVet Portal to submit samples. However, we encourage you to register in order to access discounted shipping services and the Referral Guide.

Click the “Forgot Password” box on the login page. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password.
Previously, multiple accounts per clinic were allowed. These established accounts remain valid. New VOLVet Portal registrations are limited to one account per clinic, ideally using a shared clinic email address.
Yes. The portal is HIPAA- and veterinary-client confidentiality–compliant, using encrypted, secure transmission of records.
