Veterinary College to Host Neurologist Symposium

The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine will host the South Eastern Veterinary Neurology (SEVEN) Association’s annual symposium. The association unites veterinary neurologists, neuroscientists, neurosurgeons, and those in training from the United States and Canada and aims to improve the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of neurological and neurosurgical disorders in veterinary medicine.

The symposium will be held at the veterinary college’s Teaching and Learning Center located at 2407 River Drive, Knoxville, TN at the UT Institute of Agriculture Saturday, November 11th and 12th. The symposium includes an optional Friday night networking event at TopGolf and an optional Saturday night dinner. In addition to continuing education sessions, a neurosurgery lecture and lab (sold out) will be held Sunday.

Symposium fees are $100 for diplomates, $50 for residents, graduate students, and veterinary technicians, and $25 for interns and veterinary students. Registration is open and will close October 26, 2023. Email srplatt1@gmail.com for additional information.
