Congratulations Summer Research Scholars and Mentors! What a wonderful achievement, thank you!

Twenty-two UTCVM Summer Research Scholars participated in a 10-week research training designed to help veterinary students explore a career in research. The students also present their research findings under the mentorship of a UTCVM faculty.

Six of these students were supported through a combined program from UTCVM Center of Excellence and Boehringer-Ingelheim (BI). Rather than presenting talks on their summer researach, students presented posters in the Teaching and Learning Center concourse where they were able to engage with faculty, staff, and other students one-on-one about their projects.

Six UTCVM students supported by BI, Haley Richardson, Natalie Azzolini, Samuel Calabrese, Danielle Bradford, Sydney Craig, Micah Roberts, presented their summer research at the Veterinary Scholar Symposium held at St. Paul, Minneapolis in early August.. The symposium brought together more than 600 veterinary students from the US Veterinary Colleges who shared their summer research activities.
