The UT College of Veterinary Medicine celebrated its graduating veterinarians at the annual Senior Banquet Friday, May 5th. We are thankful to all the donors and sponsors of the various awards which ranged from professional associations, emeritus faculty, student organizations and major corporations.

Sixty awards were presented to the Class of 2023 and, of the 78 graduates, 41 (53%) of the class received an award for their accomplishments. One student received six awards, three students received three awards, twelve students received two awards and twenty-six students received one award. Cash awards totaled almost $24,000 and in-kind awards represented much more. Other awards were presented to faculty and staff for their contributions to the college and our students.
