February is National Pet Dental Health Month. Brushing your teeth is an important part of maintaining your oral health: it’s the same for your pets! Without brushing, plaque can build up and lead to bad breath, gum disease, and other health problems. But how do you get started brushing your pet’s teeth? Tiffany Hunt, a licensed veterinary medical technician who specializes in dentistry at the UT College of Veterinary Medicine, and Drizzee demonstrate.
