The Ophthalmology Service at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine is offering a Companion Animal Eye Registry (CAER) clinic. Formerly known as CERF or Canine Eye Registry Foundation, the CAER provides breeders with information regarding inherited canine eye diseases that will help them make informed breeding decisions. The CAER exams are performed by board-certified veterinary ophthalmologists and are intended to identify genetic eye disease.

The CAER clinic will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the UT Veterinary Medical Center located at 2407 River Drive, Knoxville, Tennessee. A limited number of examination appointments are available. The cost is $55 per exam. To schedule an appointment call 865-974-8387.
