The Veterinary Nutrition and Health Continuing Education Conference for Livestock and Equids will be held January 26-27, 2024 at the Plant Biotechnology Building located on the UT Institute of Agriculture’s Knoxville campus. The conference is designed to provide open exchange between presenters, equine veterinarians, veterinary students, Extension, and the Department of Agriculture. Topics will include relevant nutrition and health information for managing common conditions, diseases, and classifications of livestock and equids.

Conference attendance is open to veterinarians, veterinary technicians, veterinary and graduate students, ARPAS members, Extension agents/specialists, and Department of Agriculture personnel.

Attendees will receive 20 hours of veterinary CE credits, including 2 hours of USDA regulatory modules. The conference will also be submitted for ARPAS CE credit (number of hours assigned is dependent on final topic and modules to be presented). Speakers include faculty and clinicians from UT College of Veterinary Medicine and UT Department of Animal Science.
